Das REALITAETENLABOR bietet einen Raum für interdisziplinäre und anwendungsorientierte Entwicklungen im Bereich Augmented Reality (AR) und Virtual Reality (VR) – zusammengefasst Extended Reality (XR) – und ist am Fachbereich Informations- und Kommunikationsmanagement der Technischen Universität Berlin angesiedelt. Als Netzwerk von Wissenschaftler:innen an Berliner Universitäten fördern wir in diesem zunehmend höherschwelligen Feld den Austausch von Wissen, Technologien und Ressourcen. Ziel ist es zum einen, die Integration lokaler XR-Projekte voranzutreiben und die Zusammenarbeit zu stärken, zum anderen die Verzahnung von akademischer XR-Forschung und -Lehre sowie deren praxisorientierten öffentlichen Einsatz aktiv mitzugestalten.
